As an eagle

As an eagle

We wear clothes everyday. When it becomes untidy, we launder it and wear it again. In case, if man decides not to launder his clothes, it will become more and more unclean, ragged and it will be torn apart one day. Clothing cannot launder itself, the one who wears it should decide whether or not to wash it.

Our body is the clothing, Soul is the one who wears it. Who do you feel yourself to be? If you feel yourself as a clothing, then the lifespan of that cloth is your lifespan, too. But if you feel yourself as the soul that wears the clothing, then you can revive your clothing. The only organism that knows this circumspection is the Eagle. When an eagle turns 40 years, it will be given two choices. One is to die, the second option is, it has to go through a difficult path for just 150 days and then it can revive its whole body completely again and can live for another 30 years.

Another living being that has been given this wonderful grace other than eagle is, human. The term Primitive men only reminds us of uncivilized cave men who lived during the stone age. However, we can learn from the Biblical evidences that the civilized men who lived before and after the great flood, knew well about the phenomena of the earth and had also built cities. God talked so many things about Astrophysics with His devotee, Job and he understood, too. Even after the prevalence of Sin, people lived for about 900 years before the great flood, it is not only because of the environment in which they lived, but also because of their knowledge.

The Biblical verse “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind,” is not only about the change of one’s carnal nature, because soul and body are inseparably entangled with each other. The change that happens in a soul will certainly affect the body also. If the sin that has entered a soul can bring aging and death, then the Righteousness of Christ that has entered the soul can certainly bring youth and life.

The problem with today’s Christians is, just like the other worldly people, they consider themselves only as the body, they have not yet learned to feel themselves as their souls. That is why they are still worldly and are serving as slaves of the sect and are still clinging to the Mosaic Law. If we comprehend the meaning of this one verse, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me,” (Galatians 2:20) and if we keep taking it in continuously as our bread and digest it in our souls, the wonder that it will do to our body will be an unprecedented miracle.
