Unshakable…

A warrior never worries about his defeat in a war. However, when his strength is scorned, he will fret in distress. Giant Goliath’s strength was scorned like this by petite David with his sling and stones.

Assume someone slaps you on your cheek. Being slapped, you do not react, you remain as such. But the one who slapped you trembles as his hand aches. He could have slapped you, but you are one who won. When a lion catches a lamb and rips it off with all its strength, and even after being torn, if the lamb slowly gets up and goes to join its herd, the crown of the king of jungle falls down ridiculed. There is no more shame than this.

God uses the insignificant people like us as this to humiliate the proud Satan. “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair ( 2 Corin 4:8).” Even after being trampled, crushed and smashed on every side by Satan, if we rise up dusting everything off and begin to walk towards Zion, Satan’s glory is humiliated as dust there. The greater he oppresses us, the greater we should grow and propogate, there lies his shame.

The same petty people which he uses to worship him and to attain glory, shall be employed by God to mock his strength, there lies His glory!
