Will He give anything that we ask?

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. (Psalm 20:4)

You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. (Psalm 21:2)

Though the verses say so, our prayers are still in a state to receive answers like yes, no or wait. There is a state in which everything we ask shall be granted. It is the will of God as our Father to exalt us to that state. Christ Jesus was in that state when be lived on the earth. The Heavens never refused anything that He asked.

Nonetheless, there is one step before reaching that state. We must need knowledge to know His good and desirable will. This knowledge will create desires in us according to the will of God. The Heavens shall never reject the desires that originated from that knowledge.

We have to get that knowledge only from the Word of God. “It is my aliment to complete the will of Him who sent me.” When we get to this state as Christ, the Sovereign realm will never reject our desires, it will fulfill them.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:14)
