Is adultery only a sin?

If you ask some zealous Christians who talk and write about “Sin” and “Holiness,” what are you calling a Sin, you will be appalled by their answer.

Idol worship, smoking, liquor drinking, watching porn, masturbation, adultery, homosexuality, lust of the eyes, speaking obscene words, dressing up sensually and their list of Sin ends with these.

They think that the Bible describes only these as Sin. Once they stop doing these, they take Pharisaic pride on themselves.

Lending money for interests, plundering the workers by not paying their wages properly, borrowing money and then defrauding the lender by not returning the borrowed money, destroying others in order to progress oneself…

Backbiting about others, reasoning for not doing good deeds when they could have done, befriending based on people’s class and caste, belittling others by mocking them, selfishness, and so on.. The list goes on…

The ones carrying all these filth consider themselves as Christ, and ridicule others, once they stop smoking and liquor drinking. This mentality is disgustful before the Lord.

Which Bible says that Lust of Flesh should be thrown into Hellfire and the others Pride, Envy, Conspiracy, Selfishness, Lie, Materialism can enter the Heavens?

If the Christian community that talks about sin incessantly had a proper understanding of sin, it would at least have many good and trustworthy people. But unfortunately, we have created a bunch of hypocrites that is arrogant to acquaint with, who clean only the surface of the vessel without letting others near them with stern faces.

Sin is a huge subject. It cannot be explained in one article. But we Christians, should get rid off the thought that only Lust of Flesh is sin. It is also a Sin, but not just that.
