Feather floating in the wind

Wind blows all over the earth always. Light objects like feathers flow in the direction of the wind. Whereas, heavy objects like iron, stones do not move at all. 

The Divine wind, the Holy Ghost has been traversing in this world from the first century. But a very few float along with him, experiencing wonders. Many do not even move an inch in their spiritual lives. What is the reason behind this? 

The Eden life made for Man was easy as well as lovely. Because of man’s disobedience, his life is caught in this worldly structure and is entangled in it. There are many burdens that encumbers each of us in our daily lives. These burdens hinder us from progressing in our spiritual lives and lets us remain where we are. It is Satan’s trap for sure. 

But he has given us the solution to free ourselves from this snare. 

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) 

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) 

He redeems us from this worldly burdens, not to give us strength anew to run behind the world again, but to direct our perception towards the divine. When we cast away all our burdens on Him, everything becomes light. Then it will be possible for us to float along with the Holy Ghost to the heights of spiritual life.
